In the Linear Ball Slide, stainless steel balls roll on four hardened and ground stainless-steel needle roller raceways.
Thus, the very small friction coefficient of the Linear Ball Slide enables it to be used with no need for lubricant replenishment.

Type LSP has a pinion gear at the center of the cage, and the slider and base have racks. The rack-and-pinion mechanism completely eliminates cage dislocation, with the resulting linear motion remaining faultless even after
repeated use at high speed.

Ball Slide type LSC with cylinders, which incorporates driving cylinders in its base, is compact in size, thereby
enabling space to be saved and the weight of the unit to be reduced.

With all its parts made of highly corrosion-resistant material, the Linear Ball Slide is so corrosion-resistant that it can
even be used in an environment subjected to water spatter. Moreover, only a limited magnitude of inertia develops,
making it ideal for high-speed motion. Installation is simple: just bolt a unit to the mounting surface of any device.
The linear-motion guide is ready then and there. The Linear Ball Slide can be used in various optical measuring instruments, automatic recorders, small-electronic-component assembly machines, office automation equipment
and peripheral devices, and other equipment and devices that require high precision.

LSP with Rack   Ball Slide type LS LSC with Cylinder

Ball Slide type LSP has a cage comprising a rack-and-pinion mechanism. Therefore, the cage will not dislocate even in high-speed operation.

At vertical installations as well, the cage remains in its proper position. As a result of this feature, many inventive applications can be found.

This is a unit-type finite-linear-motion system, in which balls are positioned between the base and slider on the needle roller raceways.

With its incorporated stoppers, type LS can prevent a damage and deformation due to collision between the cage and end plate.

Type LSC features driving air cylinders in its base. The feeding of air through two ports on the base end face causes reciprocal movement. As the cylinders are of the double-acting type, the right- and left-hand movement rates can be controlled independently using different speed controllers. The cylinders and pistons consist of corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy with its surfaces provided with special treatment to improve durability. The cage, constructed using the rack-and-pinion mechanism, will not dislocate.

The piping air ports are positioned on one side, providing high accessibility in a narrow installation location or a location with a complicated shape. This enables easy assembly.

Shown to the left are specifications for the air cylinders incorporated into type LSC.
