The LM block of Type SNR-R has the smallest width in this series and is provided with tapped holes. It is therefore suitable for the places where space for the table is limited. The flange of the LM block is provided with tapped holes, which is suitable for simple build-up assembly.
For mounting from below to a table that does not allow drilling a through hole, the flange tapped holes can be used as plain through holes.

For ultra-heavy loads

While it has the same cross-sectional shape as type SNR-R, this ultra-heavy-load type is provided with extra load-bearing balls to increase its load rating. While it has the same cross-sectional shape as type SNR-C, this ultra-heavy-load type is provided with extra load-bearing balls to increase its load rating.

 


 

 SNR·SNS형의 구조
      Balls roll in four rows of precision-ground raceway on an LM rail and an LM block.
      The end plate attached to the ball cage and LM block causes the trains of balls to circulate.
      The Caged Ball      TM design developed by THK eliminates wear caused by friction between balls, or ball wear, thus improving
      the grease service life, enabling an extended maintenance-free period, achieving low noise and an acceptable running sound,
      and significantly increasing high-speed performance.
